WHOO HOO! I love the way that Hank had been so understanding to Roge. Se basically betrayed a little of their trusting friendship, but he understands and accepts. God for him.

Sharon.

Author's Response: I wanted to mend at least a little of Rogue's and Hank's relationship, after all the drama and betrayal (after a fashion). She gave an apology, but was honest that she's do it again to save Logan. Hank has watched her go through all the trials, and understands that they deserve a chance. I can't see how he'd hold that against her forever. Hank seems like a deep, sincere person to me.

Author's Response: Ah, my evil plan worked, then! Hang tough, 'cause the end is near.

Oh please don't let Logan die, it will kill Rogue.

Please update soon!

Author's Response: Daily chapters, my dear - daily chapters, and only two more to go!

No I did not read that 'if' thing no... no 'ifs' *shakes head*

Author's Response: I think you and Dromeda must be lurking in the archive, and read the fresh chapters before my computer keys have even cooled off. LOL!

How much time has passed since he was dosed with the cure? Another great chapter.

Author's Response: I forgot to check the calendar... *ponders*

I know it is weird but I really like Mystique in this one. It's like she is staying at Xavier's Institute and Day Spa. Just hanging out and sleeping all the time. Sounds nice. LOL.

Author's Response: I think Mystique was 'underused' in the movies. She was a plot device, sure - her skills were needed. But she deserves some personality. And if I were her, I'd spill the beans on ol' Buckethead, too!

I am so in love with this story! You write so well, I feel like I'm there in the mansion with everyone. Thanks for sharing your talent with all of us. :o)

Author's Response: *gawsh!* Thank you! And, you're welcome. I just adore/worship/am addicted to Logan, so.... writing fanfic is a good release valve between movies (and may there be more of them).

Well Mister Wolverine do your 'I heal from everything' thing and everything is going to be fine.

Author's Response: Can it really be 'that' easy? I think.... not/possibly/maybe/can't tell you. Only about 4 more chapters to go, unless I write some epilogues, now that a sort of 'universe' has been established. Thanks!

I love that she has Logan's tag again. Another fabulous chapter. I'll actually be a bit sad when you finish it.

Author's Response: I always thought those dog tags were such an integral part of Logan's lore, and I hated seeing them thrown away, even though the act served a very poignant and dramatic purpose in the second movie: Logan's freedom from Stryker..... but he'll never be free of it, so Rogue deserved the tags.

Wonderful chapter again, I've not reviewed the last few chapters cos I've been ill, so I'll do it en-masse if that ok, Loved the underwater stuff at alkali lake and Rogue mutation returning right when she need it the most, the stuff in the chapel was very powerful and very real.
loved when she told Bobby to fuck off, I have Bobby issues.
I think I've rambled on long enough

Author's Response: The underwater stuff was a hoot to write. I did a lot of visualizing whilst writing that, what it would feel like, sound like, look like, etc. The bit with the bones on Storm's feet just 'happened' very suddenly. The chapel scene *basically* was in my head from very early on, I just had to let it flow out. I'm still not happy with it, but I'm too far in to edit now. Glad I'm not the only one with Bobby issues - she just needed to cut him off at the knees (at least verbally!).

Long time reader, first time reviewer.
I just want you to know I'm loving this story. Thank you for writing it! I love your characterizations of Rogue and Logan. Too often Logan comes across in fanfics as some completely feral and dark character. I think you've created a great balance in him. Can't wait to see where the story will go, and I keep wondering if the nature of Logan's mutation will allow him to recover from the Cure more quickly than the others, and if he'll keep the ink when his mutation does return. I wont even entertain the idea that he's not going to make it!

Author's Response: I adore dark, feral Logan, but sometimes that persona keeps it tough to get a lengthy, deep, intricate fic. Blending Logan/Wolverine gives that classic Jekyll/Hyde depth, and I enjoy playing them off against each other. Wolverine is usually the winner.

Come on Hank you got proof that the cure wears off so it would be a crime to let Logan die!

Author's Response: True, but those pesky legal papers just tangle everything up!

Don't apologize for your characters and what they might do: the sign of a good work of fiction is when the characters take on a life of their own, and the author can barely keep up.

It is when you are surprised by what they do, rather than plotting it, that you become the writer.

Author's Response: That observation about the characters taking on a life of their own is some of the pithiest, most profound advice I've ever read. I swear that soetimes I learn more by reading feedback than I do from reading other fics. Thank you for that.

Ok, I have to ask it...is she gonna turn blue and hairy? *g*

WOW, just WOW! I am a religious person and trust me you caused no offence what so ever!! In a time of desparate need, desparate emotions, things like faith get questioned, I mean REALLY questioned. Lines get blurred and anger flares. Anger usually directed at God or whichever version of him is relevant to the person. In this situation of complete and utter dispair some tough questions are asked of him and unfortunately for us the big man never answers, never comforts, he simply leaves us with our own choices and emotions and hopefully conclusions.

Sorry I rambled!!

Anyway, fucking spot on! Brilliant! BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO!

Author's Response: Thank you - that makes me feel better. I tend to pick up threads of details from other fics, and many of those contained references to the mutants feeling either rejected by Deity (whatever/whoever form that takes), or being agnostic to atheistic. Having all the supports pulled out from under her life, Rogue would have a meltdown. Religion, destruction, rage, fire, cunning - all those things are meaty fic topics, and packing them all into one chapter (I thought maybe...) would put a lot of people off. I've seen authors get seriously slammed for writing on controversial topics, and I'm just hot-headed enough to spit into the wind, so to speak. lol!

I can understand Rogue focusing her grief in that way and blaming God. Great chapter.

Well I'm sure Marie could do without her mission and touching Hank is wrong... but I don't give a shit!

Logan has to be kept alive as long as it takes for his mutations to come back and that's it!

Can't wait for more!

Author's Response: <<< but I don't give a shit! >>> My sentiments exactly!

Is that Marie's subconcious telling her that her mutation is active again?

Author's Response: I plead the Fifth, no can reveal future plot, or non-plot.

I've been meaning to tell you that Mike is an awesome character. As are Ciji and Niji.

Author's Response: I'm glad you're enjoying my OCs. Stick around for "Stygian Depths" where they get to shine a little. I'm posting two chapters today. :-) Thanks! I started out with the twins, thinking they'd be the main OC focus, but Mike just grew on me.
