Beautiful. A beautifully different twist on the 'Marie meets Logan' story. All usual and needed elements still there; 'got anything to eat?', the frienship that turns to a little more, the intense desire for him to protect her. Just wonderful!

Okay if he lives at the end then this story was really good. If he dies then I'm completely bummed. Interesting spin on Marie's mutation with how she 'feeds' n'all. And I loved the name thing-- that was good. :)

Author's Response: I leave it up to reader to decide if he lives or dies. I thought of one thing, and when I read it again now after seeing your fb started wondering too. I guess this is one of those 'I'm trying, goddamned, but Logie won't let me do it!' fics where end got blurred because me and my muse disagreed.
