Wow! Fan-damn-tastic! What a wonderfully original story line! I loved it!
I always knew Charles was a couple apples short of a fruit basket, doesn't surprise me he'd sacrifice one of his 'children' for his damned cause. Of course, Jean's there to follow right behins him, the ever present kiss-ass, sucking up to Charles at every opportunity. Scott, the loyal puppy dog that'll do anything Charles or Jean tells him to. What surprised me was 'Ro. Can't really see someone of her intelligence and spirituality going along with such a blatantly murderous scheme.
Really liked that you showed Alia's humanity by allowing her to feel for her father. I know Logan never wants anyone's pity; but the depth of his love for Marie is, to a certain extent, pitiful because of how low it has brought him. Really liked that you had her overrule Charles to free Logan from him semi-self-imposed prison AS WELL as having her plant that *little* tantalizer within the void that was created. I only wish you'd have had part of her deal with Charles include some kind of resolution for her also. If she gets him his dream, then he lets her go; lets her forget all the shit he's put her through, and then she and Feyd can go to that nowhere town and raise goats and crops and have a 'normal' life.
Really, really liked this story, hope to see more along these lines. ^_^
