I know you couldn't have known about X3 and its plot back in 2001 when you wrote this powerfully beautiful poem, but the sixth stanza could almost make me believe Logan is mourning Jean instead of Rogue. Kind of eerie, that. --Wendie

I suppose this is from Logan's POV...it's so hard to tell? Any other thoughts on jenn's Illusions series -- amazing, yes, but unsatisfyingly unfinished.

Wow, great use of imagery and words. Dark, angsty, wonderfully poetic, so many great lines to choose from, but this stuck out for me, 'because there are more than enough bullets
to avenge you
but never enough faith
to carry on alone.'
A great talent poetry, well done.
