Didn't see it until the start of this chapter.
And for a moment I thought: "What if it's not about Logan at all, but about Marie? What if this Logan is really just the one she's keeping in her head, like kids who make up a 'friend' when they are lonely?"
But you did say at the beginning that this was about Logan and only Logan.
