Yes, at last a completely not-likeable, credible, REAL Logan; great!!!
And a teenager with a crush is a freakin'g pain in the neck, absolutely!
His voice comes across just right, and you are suitably circumspect in leaving hints that all is not quite as he says it is. Great!

i totally love this. i love the conflicting "omg-don't-fucking-touch-me-but-stay-close-so-i-can-see-you-not-that-i-care-or-anything" feelings Logan's got going on here. i love that he's not being portrayed as some chivalrous hero, but more like a crabby, selfish old bastard who really DOESN'T like people... but seems to end up caring, whether he likes it or not, and for whatever reason.
fucking GENIUS.

Good story, nice writing style, not real thrilled with Logan's attitude. But it's definitely 'altered' from what we usually see, that's for sure!

i feel so conflicted about this peice. well writen, as always, but i just feel...odd. i know this is how Logan would react and it would make sense for his running off at the end of X1 and Logan and Rogue's deterierating relationship thoughout X2 and X3. but in my heart of hearts i just want everyone to be happy. i agree with RouDeVil. it should be exspanded from a one shot. it leaves me wanting more, which you always have a way of doing to me so yes...make another chapter

Now, this it's a diferent way to see their bond. I feel a little sad for Logan, he had obviously a very traumatic moment up on the statue and still has a hard time coming to terms with it.
I do enjoy your stories, but I think I mentioned that earlier. ;)

Yeah, this feels like it needs more, like its an openning to a bigger realization between the two. Either she finally accepts that he's not her firend or her hero, or he learns to lighten the hell up. But I love how real he is in this, he reacts to her skin the same way anyone else would, if slightly more intense from fear. But it makes me wonder why he plays along with her, even if it is gruf? Perhaps unconcsiously he knows its just is own paranoia and she doesn't deserve the backlas?
Author's Response: He has to play along. He doesn't want to get thrown out of Xavier's, and the last thing he wants is to let her in to how scared and vulnerable he actually is.
