This is one of the saddest fics I have ever read. I feel bad for Logan at the end yet I understand and am proud of Marie for keeping her silence to him and then for not forgiving him. When the one you love betrays you like that its the most horrible thing in the world and no matter how sorry they might be after it can't undo the hurt and the damage that the betrayl caused. So her "no" was understandable to me. Great fic!

You may not be too happy about it but, girl, you did one hell of a job!! I'm not too fond of angst either, but you really nailed it. There's nothing worse than the betrayal of your heart by the *one* person in the whole wide world that holds it in their hands. I don't blame her one bit for that one word!! I think it was absolutely brilliant for her to say it to him on her deathbed...because once she died, he'd know, really know, how much he hurt her.
