This was just as lovely as 'The Pain of Knowing'. I did have to go back and re-read the opening, however, when I realized I had missed the transition from the dream to 'real life'.

Best line: 'Had there been witnesses, he would have been forced to gut them.' A tiny bit of well-placed gore among all the hearts and flowers. Nice. --Wendie
