what a wonderful, quiet story! I haven't a clue about zodiacs, but I can see how the trashy mag horoscope and the serene dinner span quite a bit of ordinary, everyday life at the Mansion - it's nice to see that for them in a while.
Also lovely how the story has many of the common characteristics (it's got Rogan, it's got a scheming Jubes, it's got ice-cream and insinuations of chocolate) without ever becoming cheesy or distasteful - I quite agree with Wolf 's assessment there!
Wonderfully painted little vignettes, too - Logan staring at a paper hat, the view from the windows.
Very much a round, complete little story.
Author's Response: Thanks Bancainte! I was just trying to get a bit of a handle on how things could be for them both. Birthdays are emotional things and I think even though he hides it he must *feel* the loss of it sometimes.

Author's Response: Wolf, you wouldn't believe how easy it was to pin that one on him, he just oozes sex, is deep, keeps his emotions hidden, hence perfect Scorpio. Thanks for the feedback Wolf!
