Very interesting. I like the pervasive darkness and its contrast with the light. I know it was meant to be a one-shot sort of deal, but this just begs a follow-up story explaining exactly what you explained in the chapter notes. No one ever thinks of Marie as dark after what Magneto did to her; it's an interesting take on her experience. I'd read it. :)
