The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
Oh, wow. That was harsh. Very, very poignant, very raw and real. Well done!
It continues to puzzle me how wonderful little ficlets like this one can go so long with a big, fat zero in the review column. Didn't anybody else notice the heartbreaking honesty in this? Wasn't anyone else moved to comment on exquisite lines like these:
And for a moment, I consider answering him, telling him about the agony and the fire and the ice that turned me from lava to stone, but I discard that, because he wouldn't have understood.
So I speak to him in a language he *does* understand. I stop beside him and say, quietly, "Because, Logan, because I can."
I walk away without giving him time to respond, and as I do, my eyes feel like marbles: cold and clear, and empty as glass.
Apparently not. Personally, I couldn't stand to let something this good go unheralded. So I didn't. --Wendie
