The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
We need the next installment!! I understand the intimidation that Logan feels here, but I REFUSE to believe that Wolverine is letting him be such a wuss and put all this in such jeopardy! Come on already!!
Ah, our dear Logan. Love can be scary, without a doubt, but doesn't the off-chance that it might work out make it worth it and the more sweet when it does? I think he knows it. :)
Author's Response: I think he does too, he just doesn't know it ;-)
that was good :-D
Things are moving along nicely. I look forward to reading Logan's response to Rogue throwing down the gauntlet, as it were. As for the jukebox's contribution, I wonder if it knows 'Hard to Love' by Lee Brice...? --Wendie
Author's Response: I think that jukebox does know that song ;-) awesome suggestion... glad you stuck with the country theme. Thanks!
I'm enjoying these stories. Very well done. :)
Awww :( hope logan will be getting it together sooner rather than later! Brilliant part :)
Haha, very cool!:) loved it!
No changes necessary. Heart-breaking as it is, it's just perfect.
I really liked this story. :)
It most definitely does NOT suck. You've really hit your stride here. And I hope the ideas keep coming as relentlessly as the songs from that mischievous, meddling jukebox. --Wendie
Author's Response: Thanks! I have to say I really appreciate your comments... I can honestly say you (and my roommate) are pretty much the reasons I've kept writing: You both tell me that I am doing a decent job (at least) and I can tell that you both are honest and would tell me if something is wrong. I can't tell you how much your regular comments mean to me: thank you so much.
Oh, nice twist with the 'broken' (more like 'cosmically karmic') jukebox. Excellent! I also like your take on how Wolverine has figured this all out, but Logan hasn't... So, what happens now? And what song might the jukebox choose for the soundtrack? --Wendie
Getting better, I love it!
Nice to see how this has become a little series :) love the music choices! Hope there will be more! Xxx
Great little fic, like the whole conversation with rogue/jean :) very enjoyable! Xxx
No worries, your writing is very good and I'm enjoying the series immensely.
Sometimes it's hard for those of us who've seen Jean as the villain for so long to see any good in her at all, but you have done a wonderful job of making 'good Jean' believable. I also like that Wolverine is campaigning for Logan to finally get his head out his ass and see Rogue for who she is. It might be interesting to hear the mental conversation between Logan's alter ego and the man himself on that subject. Wonder if that jukebox has a song to fit that situation? Hmmm...
I did notice one particular wording goof that you might want to take a look at:
"And I'm thinking a lot of time because even Scott can tell you're not a kid anymore." I think you meant "...NOT a lot of time..." , right?
All in all, this was a fresh, new take on the Logan-Jean-Rogue triangle and I liked it. And I love the idea of the 'Jukebox' series. Are you wanting to write the stories yourself, or can others contribute? Either way, good luck with it! -- Wendie
Author's Response: i was originally thinking that I would write it, but thinking about having others contribute sounds kind of fun... are you volunteering? :-)
