Very, very intriguing. The way this is written, 'Marie' could be so many things -- a hallucination from Logan's grieving mind; a hypnotic suggestion from the professor to ease Logan through the stages of grief (and keep the Wolverine from going berserk over the loss of his mate); an evil taunt from Jean to torture the man who rejected her in favor of Marie...Or she could be a ghost that only the man who loved her can see. Really, really intriguing. --Wendie

that was very intense and angsty, i like it.
the repeating lines with the smile and caress and the fact that you didn't use names made it very special, almost like a poem or something.

by the way, i was imagining rogue seeing kitty and bobby, like she did in the movie, in the ice-skating scene, was that right? or was it supposed to be...i don't know, maybe logan and jean she sees?
