I love it when Logan gets all "gotta-teach-these-kids-about-life". It just works!

Hmmmm. I wonder if the girls will be able to read his actions or if THEY'LL just feel excluded by him. This could be tricky. I can't wait to see what you do with it!

I be that last bit was the most fun Logan's had (without female company) in a long time! I wonder what Marie's reaction to Damask's conversation will be . . . will she feel slighted, overlooked on be just plain mad? And I hope she tries that bodystocking thing with Logan. ;0)

This is very beautifully done although it's sometimes harsh at the same time. It has also stayed intriguing. Damask is a very interesting character and the subtle ways she juxtaposes with/becomes Marie in Logan's mind is kind of amazing. I can't wait to read more. Maybe its good I have the day off today.

Very interesting. I'm intrigued, both b this plot and by Logan's new stowaway. I'm looking forward to seeing where this takes us.

ok, i totally thought this love triangle/rectangle/whatever would involve Beast lusting after Rogue.

this is totally uncharted territory for me and although the idea of Logan weeping in Hank's arms and begging him makes me giggle so hard, this is still insanely hot.

i just can't wait to see what Rogue thinks about this!

omg, that surprised for Paul was so unexpected and thoughtful.

seriously, when i look around my house and see all the electronics i have in every room i can totally see how a mutant like Paul would feel smothered by them. what a wonderous present!

p.s. Wolverine as Father Christmas mad me giggle!

I have a pretty much love hate relationship with this story. I hate that Logan cheats on Marie and everything is all right between them. It just seems wrong. Are things really alright?.It does not seem that it goes into much depth of Marie's feelings. Like in nine months Logan cheated on her with Hank,it just infuriates me. But I cant seem to stop reading it. I just wished that Marie had a bigger part in these stories and for her to seem more important. I mean her power is awesome and could kick ass but it just seems that she does nothing which kinda sucks since she is my favorite character.

Anyway awesome stories kinda got me mad in some parts but I cant seem to get enough of it.

Author's Response: Thanks for the feedback honey,I know Marie seems to get a back seat in these fics but the story arc is still going, her importance is still going to be felt as we get to the older years of Amber and what the coming war will do to their 'family'. I'm currently working on 'Las Vegas Angel' which is the next in the arc, but the point I think I've missed to make is that as much as Marie understands the workings of Logan her husband there's always a part of him he denies her. The darker part of him, the wild creature that could snap her spine if he wanted to, turn into Victor and when he was still working out his worth he needed Hank's help. He literally *was* two people and Marie understood that, which was why she told him when she had Amber he was *HERS* alone. The arc is continuing and Marie comes into what she is, a confident, capable woman who has a family to protect and nurture.rnrnThank you for reading and for taking the time to tell me how you feel about the stories, sometimes therapy has a human face and sometimes it has a muse to guide it. Thanks for taking the time and enjoying it, hugs Jo.

Joann~
I spent a large part of my day yesterday (and nothing got done at home) reading your wonderful story. I decided to wait until morning to review.
This story is a TRUELY inspiring piece. You fleshed out the plot, the characters and their situations so realistically. I have no idea how long you spent on this whole thing, but I must say WOW.
I love Wolverine and I love Logan, sometimes an author will seperate the two in a story and sometimes it doesn't 'work' while I'm reading it... YOU however handled the entire aspect of our favorite mutant with respect and never debased either one or harmed them in any way. EVRYONE in the story (known XMen characters and your original ones worked togehter flawlessly and none of them stuck out in a bad way... And I have to tell you my heart broke as I read how Hank and Logan dealt with their own heartbreak near the end. You created characters that I fell and felt for! Thank You for writing such a piece of art for us! Definitely a favorite!
:)

Another all day reading marathon and yet again it was well worth it. I'm so in to this wonderful story that I skipped over to read rebirth before I read this one (just didn't seem right missing out a bit!) your imagination when writing this must have been off the scale (in a very good way) also notice that there's more but not finished (now you remember how NOT patient I am??). Nearly 365 thousand words – wouldn’t take long to write a few more!!!!!
Had a feeling that it was too easy for Hank and Logan to just call it a day especially after all that happened in the last one but did I miss where Marie found out about that particular romp?
Loving Lupa, intrigued by Amber - basically love the whole thing
I’ll stop rambling now!

Author's Response: Thanks hon, the arc was a huge one and it took a lot out of me to write it all. Las Vegas Angel is the next installment (as you probably know) and I'm getting round to finishing all the old fics I have half finished (including that one!).rnIn Lupa we get to see a little of the tension that Hanks past brings up and that actually makes Logan question their 'relationship'. To be betrayed is the biggest sin of all for Logan, to reveal himself (especially the way he has done in Nine Months) and to find out that his 'Family' (Lupa) had been under Hank's care when he was working in a lab....well it came to push and he needed to find out. Marie would *know* through the link they share, he could hide so much but it'd come out eventually and after the last time when she told him to always ne honest with her....well he'd have to eventually.rnrnGlad you like Amber, she's a little firecracker, just like her mum and Anne gets a good go in this one to as well as Katherine. Even though she had to pass before she fulfilled her role with Lupa.rnIt'll all come out in the end with Las Vegas Angel, the odd world they live in isn't exactly canon but it makes for interesting writing and reading. Glad you've enjoyed the ride so far and did you notice....365 (thousand) makes a year doesn't it LOL! Thanks for commenting hon and thanks for reading the Epic, it's appreciated, hugs Jo.

Have to say that taking your warnings into account if I had seen this on its own I would have bypassed it as being not my thing......BUT......having gotten so engrossed in the first two in the series I found myself just having to know what happened and flippin’ ‘eck I’m glad I read it. There were so many smaller stories running inside the main one that again I couldn't put the damn thing down. Now how do you do that with this part of the story being something that technically I shouldn't have liked?!!!
Loved the undercurrent of Logan being everyone's safety - of him being the wasp so everyone else could be a bee and him needing for that responsibility to be taken away now and again. Loved Logan’s take on Marie and Scotts take on Logan when buying the rings and laughed my socks of at the explanation of how girls tried out their skills by working as a pack to separate off a male! The only thing that I found that disappointed me a little was that she forgave the lying so quickly. Have spent all day reading and have a splitting headache yet I see there’s more! So I’m off to start reading again!
My advice to anyone who may not see this as their ‘cup of tea’ – read it anyway you might surprise yourself!!!
Damn good job - once again I have to mention your amazing description of everything even the smallest of details are in there and great characters again too. X

Author's Response: Thanks for coming along honey, Nine Months isn't for everyone's taste but the characters around Marie and Logan need some fleshing out so their interaction with each other rings true.rnAbout the rings he goes to collect...my hubby was the inspiration for that character, a little grumpy but very 'alive', another hint for Logan that the world holds more than just what he's experienced. rnIn a lot of the stories on here he's Marie's rock, Logan is her touchstone but I wanted him to be more than just her hope, there's more than her who's vulnerable and Logan has honour, trust and desire to help (especially in the early comics) he'll go the extra mile for those who need him. He's been described as 'the heart of the X-Men' and I wanted that to come through in Nine Months as well as the development of his world and those around him.rnrnGlad you had fun with it and thanks for the comment honey, Jo.

Review take 2. This mornings first chapter (promises to keep) well lets just say you write the smut too damn well! Especially when I’m recovering from an op and certain activities have been banned for 8 weeks ! (I’m glad I felt I had to get some sleep last night and decided to call it a day at the end of 'aftermath' Bad enough being tormented during the day!)
Loved the in-depth and sometimes darker look into some of the other characters, you also seem to have the knack of easily integrating your own characters in and making them just as interesting and just as much a part of the big picture as everyone else.
Have read the follow up before just haven’t got round to reviewing but I will. You have talent in abundance - can’t wait for the next story.

Author's Response: Thanks honey, glad you enjoyed the smut fest (even though you can't act on it yet), the next story (Is Christmas Ever Normal) is one I loved doing. Just for the thought of Logan dressed in a deep green velvet coat with foxfur trim (purrrrrr). After that is Nine Months (which won't be to everyones cup of tea) but I think it shows a difficulty that we only get when authors make Logan choose between Jean and Marie. I just made him choose between Hank and Marie, for me there's a piece of Wolverine that would love to be weak, to have someone save him once in a while, someone like Hank. Someone to explain why he feels the way he does, someone to explain the animal inside him for him, a mirror of himself just in reverse.rnKatherine makes a good appearance in that series (Nine Months) although I can't put what happens to her on this site but it is on the sister site XMMFF, called 'Rebirth'. It's what happens when Sabertooth finds out about the kids at the school and what she does to save Logan, Marie and Amber.rnrnGlad you enjoyed it honey and thanks for following me through it, it was my first ever fanfic with Logan and Marie and I'm glad you came with me for the ride. Hugs Jo.

One chapter down and I'm so excited about your story!! I like this character you've created, seems like she's going to be an interesting addition to your story. And I feel like you've captured Logan's dual nature pretty well in this bit too. Good job, can't wait to read more (I might read slowly, this seems like it's going to be good and I'd hate to rush it, lol)

Author's Response: Honey I thank you for reading it in the first place, thanks for sharing what you think of it with me and I hope you enjoy the rest of the story arc. Have fun reading honey and thanks again for commenting, Hugs Jo.

wow that was an interesting concept. I have to say though I am disappointed. Logan cheated on Marie and more than once. that saddened me. I hate when men are unfaithful.

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing Lupa, it really doesn't fit that well in here but I added it because it's a story I love. The main story (of which Lupa is a piece in an arc) is over on XMFF, the sister site to this one. Glad you liked the concept of Logan's heritage it's possible if you think about it. The reasons for Logan's cheating are pretty big, not everyone would understand but if he hadn't he could have lost everything. Thanks foe the feedback, Jo.
