The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
p.s. love the chapter name Siva...very appropriate!
i love how this ended! what a shocker, but made total sense. he didn't really know her, she could have been ANYTHING hiding inside that broken body.
and that sort of monster is what Rogue COULD have been if she ever turned to the dark side. creepy and fantastic!
Absolutely loved this series right up until the end of this one! I appreciate the cleverness of the twist, I don't think anyone saw that coming! but it just didn't work for me. I can't really explain it and I wish I could but then again maybe it's just me - so ignore my thoughts!!
Christ I'm running out of tissues and there's one more to go!
wonderful descriptive writing.
I'm a beginning, middle and end fan and in that order! but I'm making an exception cause I loved the first one without this one, and now it's even better - great stuff well done x
really liked the way you put the rumours inbetween sections of the fic.
You really do these sad ones too well *grabs tissue and hopes somehow all is well in the next one!*
That was different, not sure that I follow the ending but well writen.
Author's Response: In this one the beginning is the end. I guess it all boils down to one question. In this Logan is able to reach beyond the grave, but is it really worth it? Marie appears to be shy, timid, almost retarded, but when her 'batteries' are full it's completely another issue. Thanks for reading and thanks for the fb. :)
Wow, what an ending! Never saw it coming.
“I think I’ll finish you off later. For now I have some other plans…”
Stopping her from consuming the world in her hunger.
WHAT in the frickin' hell was that, ara?!? I just 'bout broke my neck with the triple take those last paragraphs caused!!!
*tips hat* Way to throw the twists in to keep us on our toes!
Author's Response: Yhat was Marie who just woke up. She isn't the poor, fragile orphan in every fic of mine.
ok, what..........? Did he imagine that or was that really Marie being so cold and unfeeling?
Author's Response: No imagination or hallucination. She had been dormant, but when Logan 'healed' her he let something loose that would have been better left alone.
You sure this is the last one...
Author's Response: Yes. You did read The Sentinel first? Ending won't change no matter what. Sorry.
I wish I could answer your question, ara, but I don't know what this is either. Could we call it melancholia? It's a sad little tale, with an ending none of us want to admit to. But Logan and his honorable ways, his decision to take care of her, even at risk to himself, is a welcoming light. This's going into my Favs...not that I'll read it much, but I don't want to lose it in the vastness of the archives.
Author's Response: Sadly melancholia doesn't appear on the list of categories, but...
Going to your favs? I'm flattered. Thanks! :)
A/N: This wouldn't let me go just yet.
And I'm so very glad.
Genres: General
No this is not 'general' I'm clutching a tissue box again...
Author's Response: What is this, then? Okay, Logan is an asshole in this one, but I'd like to think that he's a nice asshole. Helping out Marie. No dark. No angst either, Marie and logan are having a good time in this one. Not romance, since Marie's just a kid. Shipper? We know already how it ends, so I don't think so.
It's a little bit of everything, hence general.
jeeze that was sad! Yet it was incredibly beautiful. Really nice job!
Powerful, a littl creepy, but wow! Loved it. Hitting favorites as we speek!
*sniffling*
Awwww sad but beautiful... and you made me cry again.
*blows nose*
That was beautiful...heartbreaking in the twist...but a beautiful take on what could really reside under the cold, grumpy, antisocial exterior of The Wolverine. Really loved how, even in this universe you created, Marie still got to him, still got under *his* skin!
Wow. That was so moving, heartbreaking. Great job.
