The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
Had I known this was a poem before I opened it, I probably would have skipped it altogether, and that would have been awful, because I'd have hated to miss this.
This is beautifully crafted, taking Logan full circle from hiding his personal pain to being proud of how much he loved her, of how much she taught him to feel. Excellent.
Peace,
Wendie
Author's Response: I'm the same, I see poetry in the genres section and think 'no thanks'! and had I imagined I'd write some, let alone the rhyming kind I'd have thought no, no, no - but a few lines popped in my head and a stubborn streak within me just had to see how far I could go. Soon found out that it is about as far from easy as you can get so I'm glad you enjoyed it. Due to a request I added a sort of prequel to this called 'I Remember' which is from Rogues pov. My list now contains 3 in the poetry section and I think thats enough for anyone!! Thanks for taking the time to review x
Can't say a poetry is my thing, but it was interesting and very emotional.
Author's Response: You’re not alone; it’s not for most - especially my version of poetry! It’s just that every now and again I need to write [or read] something very different from the norm, just to stop the blur of everything sounding the same. rnThere’s one more in the pipeline [a kind of prequel to this] and then I promise to stop!rnThanks for taking the time to review xrn
WOW.... that was nice... good tempo, good metre....and the story shone thru so beautifully.
Author's Response: flippin eck it got a wow - I was expecting more of an admin notice saying you're banned from posting anything else!! Thanks ct xrnrnI must be a glutton for punishment because poetry is just so popular {NOT!!!!} but stand by because stupidly someone has asked me to do a prequel and even more stupidly I started one! rn
